With a Hiba education, pupils learn to become globally minded citizens of the world as they gain a deeper understanding of China’s rich cultural heritage. Hiba Academy schools follow the rigorous framework of the Chinese national curriculum, blending the most appropriate and effective elements of Western education. Our Chinese and Western co-teaching approach creates a truly immersive bilingual experience for all pupils.

Hiba Academy’s Nurseries combine the English EYFS and Chinese national curriculums to create an effective framework for teaching and learning. Here, pupils build the foundations for academic success and gain basic life skills. They learn through play, following their instincts and curiosity in our specially designed indoor and outdoor learning environments.

In Primary School, instruction in both Chinese and English ensures that pupils not only learn a second language but learn how to learn in a second language. Moreover, by embedding the Hiba values into our teaching, pupils form healthy, positive and moral characteristics that prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead in Junior and High School.

In Junior High, children engage in deeper intellectual exploration. They develop their thinking abilities and language skills across all subject areas, which is essential to becoming fully bilingual. Our pupils learn in an environment that encourages communication, creativity and critical thinking, soft skills that will serve them well beyond their academic careers.

The curriculum in Hiba Academy High Schools is demanding. Pupils are encouraged to venture beyond their comfort zone, as they explore challenging subjects and discover and develop talents that the world’s best universities look for in applicants.
