Wellington College Education continues to expand its global family of schools, creating new possibilities for pupils, teachers and families across continents. With every new campus, we strengthen our commitment to an education that helps young people flourish—and make a positive difference in the world.

Earlier this month, Wellington College Independent School Jakarta welcomed its first cohort of pupils. Then in September, Hiba Academy Bay Area will open its doors to pupils in San Francisco. More schools are on the way too. Wellington College International Lagos is slated to open in 2027, followed by schools in Qatar and Kenya in 2028. Each addition builds towards a long-term vision: a connected community of learners and educators, rooted in shared values and purpose.

As our family of schools grows, so do the opportunities it creates. Pupils gain a broader international perspective and learn alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. Teachers, likewise, collaborate with colleagues worldwide, sharing best practices, professional learning and resources across campuses. This year, several colleagues from Wellington College Education (China) have taken up roles in our sister schools in Jakarta and Lagos, while staff from Wellington College UK have also joined schools in China. These exchanges bring fresh ideas into classrooms, broaden professional perspectives and strengthen the ties that bind our growing global family.
