Diversity
Many Journeys
One Community
The Class of 2026 is defined by diversity in the fullest sense. Pupils come from a wide range of nationalities and cultural backgrounds, and they are heading to universities across Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and beyond. Meanwhile, many pupils in this year’s graduating cohort also chose to apply to universities in China, successfully securing offers from leading institutions such as the University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Tsinghua University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Their chosen subjects are just as varied, spanning literature, science, mathematics and arts. Together, these pathways reflect a generation unafraid to explore, to specialise and to contribute in new ways.
Over the summer holiday, we will be sharing a series of videos featuring outstanding graduates on the Wellington College Education (China) official WeChat Channel, Rednote and other social media platforms. Please stay tuned!

Once a Wellingtonian
Always a Wellingtonian
Graduation is not simply an ending; it is a turning point. Across Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nantong, the ceremonies marked the moment pupils stepped forward not only as graduates but as Old Wellingtonians. The Wellington journey is a continuous one, and the bonds formed here—across schools, campuses and year groups—endure well beyond the final day. Once a Wellingtonian, always a Wellingtonian.

To the Class of 2026
Congratulations! May you carry with you the confidence you have earned, the values you have lived and the friendships you have built. Wherever you go next—across countries, disciplines and new communities—may you continue to learn, to connect and to lead change.
