We.Connect
On 16 May, we gathered for a very special occasion, our first-ever reunion of Old Wellingtonians in Seoul, South Korea. It was a joy to see nearly 30 alumni from across the country come together—a true testament to the reach of our community.
Alumni from the Classes of 2015 right through to 2025 gathered under one roof, bridging together different year groups but united by the same familiar Wellington spirit. We were especially touched to see several alumni bring their families along, a lovely reminder that the Wellington connection does not end at graduation—it continues, grows and becomes part of our lives long after.

We were also delighted to be joined by teachers from Wellington College Education (China) schools. Having them there brought back so many cherished memories of school days—the hallways, the classrooms, the moments that shaped us. Conversations flowed easily, from career journeys and future plans to old inside jokes and new friendships being made. Whether catching up with old classmates or meeting fellow Wellingtonians for the first time, everyone felt right at home.

A highlight of the evening was announcing Elliot Lee as our Alumni Ambassador for South Korea. Elliot’s dedication and heartfelt efforts behind the scenes made this reunion possible, and we’re so grateful for his commitment to reconnecting our community.

“It is my greatest honour to support Wellingtonians wherever they are and to help keep our connections strong beyond borders. No matter where life takes us, the Wellington spirit remains — and I hope we can continue to look out for one another in the years to come.”
— Elliot Lee
Class of 2020
Wellington College Education (China) – Tianjin
Following our London gathering earlier this year, this Seoul reunion marks another step in nurturing our growing global family. Wherever our alumni may be, we look forward to walking alongside them—staying connected, offering support, and keeping the Wellington spirit alive and shining.

Here’s to many more reunions and to a community that feels like home, no matter the distance.
