Joined Wellington College International Tianjin in August 2015
I joined Wellington after 18 years of working in the public sector. I was impressed by the College’s educational philosophies and values as well as its diverse and international atmosphere. As someone who had worked in the same environment for many years, working at Wellington represented an opportunity for me to challenge myself.
Throughout my time at Wellington, I’ve experienced a lot of professional growth and development. I’ve learned several new skills, like cross-cultural communication and how to integrate Chinese and Western teaching philosophies. Wellington has provided me with many group training opportunities and has even set me up with one-on-one coaching sessions to help enhance my leadership skills.
I am grateful that the College has entrusted me with all my responsibilities and encouraged me to keep trying my best. I am also very grateful for the ongoing support from my colleagues, which has allowed me to grow together with the school. At Wellington, you will spend every day in laughter and happiness.
