Wellington College Education (China) has once again affirmed its commitment to educational excellence, with all six of its schools earning spots in the 2026 HSBC | Forbes China International School Annual Selection. These results further strengthen the group’s leadership in international education.

Jointly launched by Forbes China and HSBC China, this ranking offers families a credible and comprehensive assessment of international schools nationwide. Schools were evaluated across four key areas: academic achievement, teaching quality, campus facilities and innovation & development.

Wellington College International Shanghai

Wellington College International Shanghai secured the top national spot across all three divisions—primary, middle, and high school— marking its strongest performance yet.

Wellington College International Tianjin

Wellington College International Tianjin has maintained its top position in Tianjin.

Wellington College International Hangzhou

Wellington College International Hangzhou also excelled, securing first place in Hangzhou.

Hiba Academy Shanghai

Following last year’s impressive university placements by its first graduating class, Hiba Academy Shanghai has continued its strong momentum in this year’s rankings. The school earned remarkable positions: No. 5 nationally among primary schools, No. 6 for middle schools, and No. 14 for high schools.

Hiba Academy Hangzhou

Hiba Academy Hangzhou ranked No. 1 in the city for primary school and No. 16 nationally for middle school, while also rising in the national high school rankings.

Hiba Academy Nantong

Now in its fourth academic year, Hiba Academy Nantong made an impressive debut—placing in the national top 10 for middle schools and ranking No. 16 for primary schools, both No. 1 in Jiangsu—while also delivering strong results in the high school category.

International Kindergartens
