This week, HR Asia, Asia's most authoritative publication for senior HR professionals, selected the winners for its annual HR Asia Awards. Wellington College China is honoured to be the only school group to have won the publication's 'Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2020' Award. This award is a testament to Wellington College China’s commitment to cultivating talent and creating the best possible workplace for our staff.
The HR Asia Award is different from other HR awards, because it is based on an in-depth employee engagement survey.
The award recognises outstanding HR management practices in all industries and has a sterling reputation among enterprises in Asia.

HR Asia bases its assessments on several factors, such as employee engagement level and satisfaction rate; talent recruitment, retainment, training and development; work-life balance; and employee communication. Thanks to comprehensive policies, management processes and its commitment to career training and development, Wellington College China received a score far higher than the industry average.
It is particularly remarkable that Wellington received high marks for some of the following survey questions:

Just over ten years after its establishment, Wellington College China has founded three international schools in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Hangzhou for international pupils; two bilingual schools in Shanghai and Hangzhou for domestic pupils; three bilingual nurseries in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Hangzhou for both international and domestic pupils; and an A Level Centre in Tianjin for both international and domestic pupils. In 2022, we will welcome one more Huili sister school in Nantong into the Wellington Family. In 2024, we plan to go overseas as well.
