Tatpicha comes from Thailand, where everyone has a nickname and hers is Taan. She became an EAL teacher as it is a career which allows her to do what she loves most: teaching English. After graduating with a MA in teaching English as a foreign language from London Metropolitan University, she taught in a secondary boys’ school in London for two years.
Prior to her appointment here at Wellington College International Shanghai, Taan was an EAL specialist at an outstanding international school in Bangkok for four years. As a result of her genuine passion in teaching each individual to achieve their fullest potential in learning and living, she has successfully developed English proficiency in EAL pupils from various backgrounds and abilities.
During her free time, she enjoys reading, travelling, ice-skating, horseback riding and yoga. She is a broad-minded person, eager to learn and try new things, and grasp new opportunities.
Taan hugely enjoyed her role at Wellington last year and is looking forward to developing her profession in education further while exploring more of what China has to offer.
