Ms. Jessie Jing graduated from Tianjin University of Commerce with a Bachelor of Business Management. She started her career teaching Mandarin in a Korean school. Two years later, she moved back to Tianjin. Since then she’s been working at an international school for 6 years as TA and Math Support Teacher. She holds both an English Teaching Certification and a TEFL Certification. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and passion of teaching with students from all cultures.
Ms.Vivian Wei studied at Tianjin Normal University, gaining a BA in English and Education. She also holds a TEM 8 English certificate. After graduation she taught English in a language school. Prior to joining WCIT she had been working for six years as a teaching assistant in another international school. She enjoys working with children and likes to support and guide them by all available means. Ms Vivian has a lot of experience with children of different nationalities. She enjoys reading,travelling,photography and all kinds of music.
Ms. Joyce Chang has been a Teaching Assistant for three years. She received her BA in English at PLA foreign language university while holding the TEM 8 English degree and TESOL certification. Her educational philosophy is that the all-round education is more than teaching students academic skills. She has been trying to guide her students in developing virtues that will lead them to a happy life in the future. She loves playing with kids, swimming and travelling around. One of her dreams is to travel around the world.
Miss Stella graduated with music theory and piano Degree from Fontys Conservatory in the Netherlands. She was taught by Ton Demmers (Steinway artist) and Joop Albracht. During her period in Europe, she won the first prize of “Cultuurprijs 2011” in Tilburg. Stella also taught Chinese in the Tilburg Chinese School and gave music theory lessons in a Dutch primary school. Meanwhile she built upa “Escualo Quartet” and held concerts in the famous concert halls of the Netherlands.
From 2013, Stella moved to Tokyo, Japan. On behalf of auction “Tokyo star”, she is an appraiser for luxury goods and antiques.
In 2014, Miss Stella joined the Wellington family, and is looking forward to enjoying her experiences at WCIT.
Cathy got her Bachelor degree in English Education of Tianjin Normal University, studying English teaching methods and pedagogy. She has obtained her Chinese English Teaching and Dyslexia Training Certificate. She also worked as a teacher for 4 years at an English training school. She has been awarded Honorary Credential in CCTV Star of Outlook Tianjin English Talent Competition. Having positive attitude, patience and eager to learn new things are her key strengths. She believes it is important to understand child development stages in teaching. Cathy is very excited to join and learn from the best educators from the Wellington family.
Ms Sarah Liu graduated from Tianjin University of Commerce with a Bachelor of Business English. She has the Teacher Certification of Junior School and once worked at a English training school as the teaching assistant for many years. She has been working at Wellington College for 3 years and knew the school very well. Her patience for children and enthusiasm for education will make her the right person for the position.
Ms Elisa Yan graduated from Tianjin Normal University with double Bachelor degrees of English, and Chinese Language & Literature. After graduated from the university, she got the scholarship to go to Germany for further study, where she studyed Bilingual Teaching and Literature. Then Elisa went to Singapore and taught Chinese in a secondary school. She has gained rich teaching experiences and been able to work with different teachers from different cultures. She enjoys travelling and reading, and she is very excited to be a member of the Wellington family.
Tessa graduated from Tianjin Foreign Studies University with a bachelor degree and TEM8. She studied French as second foreign language with Band 4. After graduation, She first joined New Oriental School and then got a chance to work in an electronic enterprise as an export sales. She learned gained lots of knowledge on business and improved communication skills. In 2008, She came back to teach in Rego International School. During six years in Rego, She gained vast experiences working as a Teaching Assistant and then as a Mandarin teacher. What She enjoyed most was organising different activities for students from different year groups. In 2014, She took great pleasure in joining the prestigious Wellington College. She hope all students enjoy their lives while receiving first-class education.
Tessa spent most of her spare time traveling and doing ballet. She would like to organize performances for assemblies.
Miss Tina Liu graduated from Jin Zhong University with a Bachelor degree of English Education. She possesses both the Teacher Certification of Senior Middle School and the NAETI certification. And she worked at an English training school as an English teacher for 3 years. She likes jogging and reading in her spare time. She is very glad to be a member of the Wellington family.
Ms Lucia Wang graduated from University of Southampton in the UK with a master degree. Before joining Wellington, she has 3 years’ work experience in New Oriental, which is the most famous English teaching institute in China. She has worked in Wellington College as a teaching assistant for more than 2 years.
Lucia enjoys working with children at Wellington and believes that besides teaching knowledge, school also need to help students to establish their philosophy and value of life to form all-round personality. She is caring, self-motivated and dedicated to become a good bilingual teacher as her lifelong career in the future. She likes dancing and reading in her spare time.
Ms. Sophia got her bachelor’s degree in 2011, major in English, She achieved excellence in the Test for English Major TEM8 and got a Intermediate Business English certification(BEC).
From 2010,6 to 2011.6, she was an intern of Compass-Kingkids English. After she graduated from 2011.6, she worked as a management trainee in Standard Charted banking operation in another half year.
From 2012.6 to 2016.6 she joined the Wellington College International Tianjin, worked as a service manager assistant(1year) and second master PA(3years). From 2016.8, After finishing the online course about “Planing & Assessment of Literacy & Numeracy” and ‘SEN’, She got the certification and transferred to the Academic team as Y5 TA. She focus on the students’ individual development, she think every student is a unique star!
Ms. Grace Song graduated from Northeast Normal University majoring English Education. After graduation, she has taught in a public kindergarden and enjoyed that period with children. She is open-minded, easy-going and responsible. In her spare time, she likes reading, listening to music, traveling and so on.
Betty has an engineering degree in Engineering and Technology from the University of Hebei. She worked in a subsidiary of Toyota for many years and has rich knowledge and experience of engineering and operation management. She is one of the original members of the founding team at Wellington Tianjin, working initially as part of the Operations department. She now provides the technical support in the Design and Technology Department. She loves painting, design and drawing, and works closely with her colleagues in the Art department.
Wendy gained her Bachelor degree in Biology from Tianjin Normal University, as well as a Master’s degree in Plant Science. While at university, she tutored Senior School students in Biology. Before joining Wellington, she taught Maths in a local junior school and she also writes popular science pieces for the web. Her hobbies include drawing, reading and listening to music.
Ms Susan Cui was graduated from Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Institute with a Bachelor degree in English and French. She started her teaching career in an English training school in Beijing and began her Wellington career in 2015. Susan holds both the English Teaching Certification and the TEFL Certification. Now she is an active member of the Physical Education team. With all the enthusiasm and passion for teaching, she would like to embrace students from different cultural backgrounds.
Linda Wang graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a Master’s degree in Physical Education. Linda has worked for two years at Shanghai SongJiang 7 Middle School, teaching swimming. Then she worked at Tianjin Haileybury International School for three years, teaching Physical Education and serving homeroom teacher. Linda holds a Senior School PE Education Certificate, Swimming Coach Certificate and Life Guard Certificate.
