Eleanor Prescott

Eleanor joined from Wellington College, UK in 2014 and has been with Wellington Shanghai since it opened. Prior to working in education Eleanor was an Investment Banker working in capital markets at banks including Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. The financial crash of 2008 meant a return to university to retrain and qualify in Secondary Education working for a year in the state sector teaching Spanish and French. Eleanor holds an MA in Economics and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and it is Economics that she continues to teach to IB Diploma students here.

Eleanor is passionately committed to life-long learning and is currently undertaking a doctorate in Education at the University of Bath. She is also particularly engaged in learning languages, managing to add Chinese during her time in Shanghai.
