Lily Wang

Lily graduated from Central South University with a Master’s Degree in Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature.  Whilst reading for her Masters, she studied under the famous writer Yan Zhen.

Lily worked at international and bilingual schools in Shanghai for 11 years before joining Wellington. She has taught Chinese as a first and second language for pupils working towards both the IGCSE and A-level examinations, some of whom have achieved among the highest overall scores in the world.  She has directed the design of Chinese curriculums in junior and senior schools to great success.  She is enthusiastic about teaching and constantly improves herself through professional training and research.

In her spare time, Lily likes reading, travelling and playing badminton.  She is an excellent cook with a particular love of baking.
