Lee spent the past six years working at Rowan Park School in Liverpool as a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) teacher, Religious Education co-ordinator and Science co-ordinator. He started as a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), teaching pupils aged 3 -19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. He was also responsible for mentoring many trainee teachers, and he feels these experiences have helped shape him into the teacher he is today
Lee attended Brookfield High School in Liverpool until 1999 where he completed his GCSE’s. After gaining work experience, he attended Edge Hill University to pursue a career in teaching. During one of his summer breaks, he travelled to Uganda where he helped build a school in a local village and enjoyed the opportunity to teach many children. He then completed his PGCE at Liverpool Hope University.
Lee loves to travel with his family, and after visiting Shanghai at Christmas, they are keen to see more of China and Asia. You will probably see them exploring every weekend! He also loves to dine out and spend quality time with his family.
