Caroline Zhang is a graduate of Fudan University of Tourism Management, and has achieved an MA degree in Psychological Health Education from Shanghai Normal University. Caroline is a fully-qualified teacher, holding the Certificate of Chinese (Level A), the American Chinese Teaching Certificate and the AP Chinese Certificate.
Caroline’s experience of teaching Chinese extends over twenty years. Before joining the Wellington team, Caroline taught in both local and international schools. Caroline has been named as a “Backbone Teacher” – recognition of her contribution to previous schools and dedication to her students. Additionally, Caroline has written several successful research papers, one of which was published in the Journal of Nanjing University. Other of her research papers have won provincial awards.
Caroline is fascinated by Chinese culture, enjoying Chinese painting, dancing and folk games; she endeavours to introduce these to her students through her teaching. In her free time, Caroline is a keen swimmer.
