Wellington College China attended meetings with CBBC and government officials of Zhejiang and Hangzhou. The China-Britain Business Council Chairman, Lord Sassoon Kt., visited Hangzhou on May 24th. The delegation had separate meetings with Mr. Zhu Congjiu, Vice Governor of Zhejiang, and Mr. Zhou Jiangyong, Secretary of CPC Hangzhou Municipal Committee. Wellington College China, as the sole representative of British education, participated in the meetings together with BP China, Standard Chartered Bank, Jardine Matheson, and other members of the delegation. Ms. Helen Kavanagh, CEO of Wellington College China, represented our organisation and introduced our prestige, progress and commitment to Hangzhou.

Wellington College Bilingual Hangzhou, the second bilingual school of Wellington College China, will officially commence classes in August 2018, offering a world-class bilingual education for children aged from 2 to 18. Wellington College International Hangzhou, the third international school of Wellington College in China, is to open its doors in September. The College is designed to offer a world-class holistic education to the children of expatriate families in Hangzhou, China.
