Imperial College London, Oxford, UCL and more!
CONGRATULATIONS
As we gear up for the Chinese New Year break, our pupils continue to excel as they secure offers from some of the world’s most prestigious universities.

To date, our pupils have received offers from several top-10 ranked institutions (QS World Rankings 2025), including Imperial College London (#2), University of Oxford (#3) and University College London (#9). Each of these offers signifies a remarkable accomplishment. Our pupils' offers to study English Language and Literature and History and Politics at Oxford are particularly notable, given these courses rank #1 and #2 globally, respectively.
STEM subjects remain popular at all Wellington College China schools. So, naturally, several pupils have received offers to study in fields like Biochemistry, Population Health Sciences, Neuroscience, Astrophysics, Molecular and Biophysical Health Science, Kinesiology and Environmental Sciences.
We have seen a remarkable increase in fields related to medicine, such as Medical and Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, and Global Health and Social Medicine. Engineering continues to make an impressive showing as well with several offers to pursue studies in Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Environmental Engineering.

In addition to traditional academic fields, our pupils have also been successful in gaining admission to some of the foremost art schools and colleges globally. These offers cover a range of creative programmes, including Industrial Design at Pratt Institute and Film Production at School of Visual Arts. Our pupils are receiving offers to study Interior Design, Product Design, Motion Design, Game Design and Development, and Animation at a variety of great schools as well.

Beyond these impressive achievements, our pupils’ success would not be possible without the support of our outstanding faculty and our Higher Education and Careers counsellors at every Wellington College China school. These dedicated professionals assist our pupils in preparing for the SAT and Oxbridge admissions exams. Over the course of several years, they support our pupils in researching and preparing their applications, reviewing their essays and personal statements, and participating in mock interviews conducted by subject matter experts.
