Hiba Academy Hangzhou receives a 2021 British Schools Award!
On 5 November 2021, the inaugural British Schools Awards were announced.
Organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in China in partnership with the British government in China, the British Schools Awards celebrate the best of British K12 education in China.
The expert panel received over 70 high-quality applications from British-style schools and education suppliers all over China. After thorough deliberation, four schools from across Wellington College China were shortlisted as finalists for five of the nine award categories, and we are excited to announce the outcome:

Hiba Academy Hangzhou provides a comprehensive range of internal Continuing Professional Development catering for all academic and non-academic staff, including a bespoke calendared internal Personal Development structured programme linking to the school development plan and based on educational research. All employees have a personal development plan which enables them to access personal professional development.

The Empowering Students Award is in recognition of the school that has championed their student body’s voice by facilitating students’ confidence to share ideas and opinions throughout the school’s community.
Hiba Nursery Hangzhou

the Holistic Education Award
The Holistic Education Award is in recognition of the school that provides the most outstanding opportunities for students to develop skills outside the classroom as well as provide for their emotional, social, ethical and academic needs.
