Andrew Pybus has worked in a number of schools both internationally and in London, UK. He has spent 15 years as a head of design technology faculties in International schools in Asia and the Middle East.
He comes to us after working for 9 years at international schools in Hong Kong but has previously worked in Shanghai from 2004 until 2006.
His interests include travel, rock climbing, squash, tennis, swimming and reading.
He has always been heavily involved in the extra-curricular life of school and has coached a number of sports including cricket, football and golf. He has also developed and participated in national and international competitions including Young Engineers and WISE. He is currently very interested in scuba diving and has run a number of scuba diving courses for students aged 12-18.
As a keen musician he has also involved himself in staff bands and musical activities, something he wishes to continue at Wellington Shanghai.
He has a love of all things technological and a particular interest in 2-D and 3-D CAD and CAM.
